What better way to kick off 2024 than with a board game giveaway? And this one's special because it's my very first giveaway as Shelf Gamer!
The game is Welcome To..., which I fully covered in my review where I gave it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. This is one of my favorites—an opinion shared by my girlfriend as well—because it has the same timeless draw that makes crosswords and sudoku puzzles so popular but with more game to it.
Welcome To... is a fantastic game for winding down after dinner or just chilling with family. I prefer to play it at 2 players and it's one of my top picks for a couples game, but it's just as great solo or with more. In fact, there's no limit to how many can play a game of Welcome To... except how many player sheets you have available.
If you have any interest at all in puzzly logic games, you need to try Welcome To... at some point. It's still the quintessential flip-and-write game to this day.
